Sex Boost

Of course we're all ecstatic about coming out of lockdown, but there is one particular section of society who is champing at the bit to  get to stage 3 of lockdown, AKA May 17th - and that's those who've been denied having casual sex over the last year!   It's effectively been illegal to stay at someone's house who isn't in your bubble, which means that many single people, who would usually partake in regular "social sexuality" (a scientific term for people who engage in casual sex),  won't have had sex since March last year!  For many people this will have created a huge void in their life, and a survey has shown that the mental health of these people - especially women - has significantly deteriorated.   Casual sex, one night stands & friends with benefits - if used in the wrong way - has been linked to low self esteem and a lack of body confidence in younger women; but sex is also a life line for many people, it releases those feel good hormones and makes you feel vibrant and confident, to be denied this can cause all sorts of issues.  Interestingly, surveys have discovered it's affected women's mental health more than men.    The good thing about all of this though -  judging by the looks of the mass flirtation going on in the pubs of south west London this week - is that there will certainly not be a shortage of casual sex partners for all come mid May!
