Therapeutic Sex Positions Therapeutic Sex Positions
Our libidos have been suffering the effects of life’s ups and downs for centuries and the need for sex therapy is nothing new. We are now fortunate enough to have a choice of talking cures, prescription drugs and sex toys (specifically cock-rings) to get ourselves up and running but adding these ancient tools of coping with physical weakness and flagging libidos can only improve our sex lives even more.
The Gaping Position
The woman lies on her back with cushions under her bottom to raise her pelvis up towards her partner and open up her genitals. The exposed position of her clitoris means that it gets more stimulation when the man begins thrusting into her vagina.
The Splitting Position
The woman lies on her back as her partner kneels in front of her and raises her legs to rest on his shoulder. Keeping her thighs together as her penetrates gives her a better grip on the man’s penis, and therefore more stimulating friction.
The Crab Embrace
This position is literally ‘getting a leg over’. The man and woman lie facing each other. She has one leg under his and one leg over his body, which enables him to enter between her clenched thighs. This position has the added bonus that the man’s thigh rubs against the woman’s labia during his thrusts.
The Transverse Lute
Lying side by side, fully outstretched, the man enters the woman as she raises her leg slightly to open her vagina. He rests his leg on her thigh and thrusts upwards, brushing against her clitoris as he moves.
